I have been practising Iyengar Yoga for around 17 years now - thoroughly to be recommended on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Through the practise one becomes aware of the subtle connection between each, whilst counteracting the negative effects of hard physical work and slaving over a hot chainsaw! It helps to put you in touch with yourself on all these levels and now I'm officially middle-aged I appreciate the fact that it keeps me young!
I'm in the process of doing a 2 year teacher training course which is hard work, but is taking my practise up a notch or two. I teach a class in Clara Vale near where I live on Sunday evenings which I really enjoy doing.
